Swiftstar sat on Windrock, a rock on the edge of the small cliff. Windrock was where she made announcements. Her camp had a cliff surrounding it, gently sloping downward at the sides, and thick brambles and ferns reinforced to keep out enemies. The nursery was hidden- a cave with ferns blocking it. There was still a lot of sunlight shining in. The nursery leads to the medicine cat's den, an entrance in the wall. There was no tunnel, just like a hole. The medicine cat's den had lichen hanging in front of it, a separate cave to store herbs with an open roof covered by brambles for sun. The medicine cat's den was very comfortable, the nursery too. The warriors den was a low hanging tree with ferns surrounding it. It was big, so all the warriors could fit in. It was on the side of the camp. The elders den was a comfy cave that had sunlight shining through. There was a tree log in front. The fresh-kill pile was on a tree stump. The elders loved to sun on the warm flat rocks around. The leader's den was in a thick tree. If you didn't want to climb the tree, there was a path from the cliff side. Then you could step on a branch. Windrock was a smooth rock surface next to that path. The tree had waterproof things woven into it to make it weatherproof. It was very comfortable. "Let all cats old enough to run gather here beneath Windrock!" Swiftstar yowled the familiar words. Specklefur and Lakesplash herded their kits out of the nursery, followed by Brightwhisker. The warriors gathered, and the rest of the clan soon came. "As you know, our borders, MoorClan and MountainClan, may be trespassing. Cracklebranch leaped to his paws and yowled. "We should attack!" He pawed the ground impatiently until his mate, Goldenleaf nudged him so he would sit down. "MoorClan was trespassing in the moor clearing." Swiftstar continued. The moor clearing was a clearing with heather surrounded by forest. The trees thinned out near MoorClan's border. "They want the moor clearing back!" Dustfang yowled, followed by Ashclaw and Tigerfang. Lakesplash curled her tail around her kits. "Make sure they don't attack my kits!" Lakesplash meowed. The clamor went up. "Everybody! Swiftstar is speaking!" Hawkeye meowed above the noise. It gradually went down. "I will lead a patrol to talk to Heatherstar." Swiftstar mewed calmly. "Hawkeye, Riversong, Silverpaw, Snowdream, Pinefleck, Roselight and Flowerswirl." Swiftstar jumped down from Windrock. "You will come with me." She dismissed everybody with a wave of her tail. Swiftstar picked the cats who weren't yowling to attack. It would be better that way, and since she brought the medicine cats, they would know that ForestClan wasn't there to attack.

Swiftstar glanced back at her patrol, heading out of their territory. ForestClan was the strongest, and the best, under Swiftstar's leadership. Riversong was padding next to Swiftstar, Silverpaw bouncing excitedly. "I'm the only apprentice!" She was squealing to the young warrior, Pinefleck. "Okay,  mouse-brain." He rolled his eyes. Flowerswirl nuzzled her mother, Roselight. Her father was dead. Swiftstar entered MoorClan's windy territory. She loved it in the wind, although she wouldn't admit it. Swiftstar could run faster than Heatherstar herself. "INTRUDERS!" A yowl came from ahead of them. Splashshine, Emberpaw, and Starlingwing charged at them. "FORESTCLAN, DEFEND! DO NOT FIGHT!" Swiftstar screeched, her warriors already flattening themselves against the ground. "Emberpaw!" Heatherstar hissed, stepping out of the swath of grasses. "MoorClan, retreat." Heatherstar narrowed her eyes at Swiftstar. "Clearly she is not attacking." Heatherstar lashed her tail. Splashshine ducked her head in embarrassment. Starlingwing touched his muzzle to Splashshine's. "It's okay, Splashshine." He murmured lovingly. Emberpaw scampered off. "I've come to talk about your warriors trespassing.
     "We are not trespassing."
"Clearly, you are. We've smelled your scent across the border."
"Are you sure? Go smell again. This must be some sort of prank!" Heatherstar gasped dramatically. "MoorClan, drive out these pranksters!" She wailed. "STOP IT!" Swiftstar yowled. "Too late." Heatherstar sing-songed, waving her tail. MoorClan warriors streamed out of the heather. "Attack!" Swiftstar yowled. Is this wrong? Will I regret it? We need to defend ourselves! Maybe we should run. No. That would be cowardly. Swiftstar lashed her tail, crouching. She leaped on Heatherstar, bowling the other leader over. Claws caught her muzzle, but Swiftstar fought bravely, blood blocking her eyes. She leaped, sliding under Heatherstar and hooking out Heatherstar's legs from under her. Swiftstar leaped onto Heatherstar's back and slashed at her neck, leaping off and kicking Heatherstar away. Heatherstar screeched, and warriors jumped on Swiftstar. Swiftstar kicked some off, slashing and biting. She reared up, bringing her claws down on shoulders. "WE ARE OUT NUMBERED! FORESTCLAN, RETREAT!" Swiftstar hated saying that. She lashed her tail, pelting away.

Swiftdapple's Story- 2, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

              Chapter 2-

Swiftdapple purred softly as the night wind rushed through her fur. Her feathery and mossy bedding was soft beneath her pelt. She could hear Lionstride snoring in the hollow tree. It wasn't hollow at the roof though. The night sky shone with stars, and the full moon was bright. The leaf-fall tree leaves flapped gently in the leaf-fall breezes. She slowly sunk into sleep as her exhausted body relaxed.

Swiftdapple woke up to prods at her ribs. She groaned. "Stop it, you lump of fur." Swiftdapple squirmed, jumping up. "Well, we're going on an adventure!" Lionstride purred. Swiftdapple groaned, her emerald-green eyes flashing in annoyance. "Okay. Where are we going?"
     "We're going to prank kittypets."
"What?! Twolegplace is dangerous!"  Swiftdapple was wide awake now. Lionstride nodded. "Exactly. We're going to use some of those battle moves." He bounced off the tree happily. Swiftdapple sighed, shaking her head. "Let's eat first then." She was starving. "I'll hunt. You get some soaked moss." Swiftdapple meowed. There was a stream near their tree, maybe twenty fox lengths away. Lionstride was already off to get moss. Swiftdapple decided to get big prey, so they wouldn't be hungry during their adventure. She was not looking forward to stealing kittypet food.

Swiftdapple crouched, her fur brushing the ferns, the very lightest touch of morning frost. The rabbit nibbled on marigold happily, unaware of the approaching cat. Marigold! That's a big waste of herbs. That made even more reason to hunt rabbits. She leaped, stretching her claws out. The rabbit squealed, alarming Swiftdapple. Swiftdapple reared up, and the rabbit dashed away. She gave chase, racing through the forest, the wind ripping at her pelt. she loved these days, full of wind. The colors of leaf-fall danced as Swiftdapple ran. She was one of the fastest cats. Orange, red and yellow leaves drifted across her every few minutes. The rabbit's brown tail bobbed up and down. Swiftdapple narrowed her eyes, bunching her muscles up to spring at it. She yowled, flying at the rabbit and sinking her claws in. Swiftdapple stood up triumphantly, laying a few leaves over the rabbit.

Swiftdapple caught a goose and a finch after the rabbit. She carried them home, to find Lionstride waiting with the soaked moss. "I thought you'd never come." He meowed drily. "I almost starved to death." Lionstride looked over the prey. Swiftdapple cuffed Lionstride over the ears. "Hmph." Swiftdapple rolled her eyes. Lionstride was already ripping apart the rabbit, gulping it down hungrily. Swiftdapple ate the finch in quick bites, kicking dust over the remains. "Let's go now." she meowed as she swallowed the last morsel of the goose Lionstride had started. He nodded, bouncing off after he sucked in some more water from the soaked moss. "To twolegplace!" Lionstride yowled.

Swiftdapple's Story- 1, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 1-

Swiftdapple yelped in surprise as Lionstride swept her paws from underneath her. They were battle training. Swiftdapple rolled as Lionstride's paw hit where she was a second ago. Swiftdapple jumped up and twisted, landing on Lionstride's back, panting. Lionstride reared up and flung her off, Swiftdapple flipping and rolling so when she landed Lionstride wouldn't pounce on her. Lionstride pounced on the open ground, huffing in exertion. While Lionstride struggled to keep going, Swiftdapple took the advantage and slid underneath him, hooking his paws from under him and twisted to plant her paws on his neck. "To slow!" Swiftdapple purred. "You're fast!" He mewed, panting. "You're very strong." Swiftdapple swept her tail across his ears and padded to the other side of the clearing. It was leaf-fall. "We're going to have to train more if we don't want to lose prey during leaf-bare." Lionstride meowed, sighing. "Of course. Let's hunt now." Swiftdapple licked Lionstride's shoulder.
Swiftflight tasted the air. She was one of the best hunters, since she was nimble and swift. "Mouse!" Lionstride hissed. Swiftdapple snaked up to it, flashing out a paw to kill the mouse. "Great!" Lionstride licked her shoulder as he went to pick it up. Swiftdapple jumped into their tree. The tree was thick, hollow inside. Swiftdapple liked the top, while Lionstride like the inside. Lionstride clambered up the tree, dropping the mouse. Swiftflight gulped down half, then left the rest to Lionstride. "Frost is coming." Swiftflight tasted the cold, leaf-fall air. Leaf-bare would arrive very soon. "Let's do tree training." Lionstride suggested, padding to her side. "I'll win again!" Swiftflight mewed gleefully, dropping to the ground and purring. "Okay!" Lionstride mewed. "Ready... Set..." Lionstride paused. "Go!" He yowled, twisting and landing behind Swiftdapple as he leaped for her tail. Swiftdapple was too fast. She whipped around, almost colliding, but leaping over his head to land on his back. Yowling in defiance, Lionstride reared up, catching her tail that was in front of him. Swiftdapple was yanked off, but in midair, she twisted to the side to land on her feet, sliding under Lionstride in a second. Lionstride's legs buckled as Swiftdapple leaped back, rearing and crashing her paws down on his tail. She was going for the body, but Lionstride had moved. Lionstride jumped past her, swiping skillfully at her ear. Swiftdapple moved up into the tree. She loved the skillful swipes she had learned as a kit. Swiftdapple couldn't imagine what other cats did- Just catching whatever fur they could reach and scratch? Swiftdapple bared her teeth and planted her front paws on Lionstride's shoulders as he emerged. He was too strong, pushing her over. Swiftdapple immediately sprang back to her paws, her thick calico pelt disappearing into the leaf-fall branches. Swiftdapple leaped, catching Lionstride off guard. "Ha!" She meowed in delight as she pinned him down. Lionstride went limp, Swiftdapple thinking she'd won. With a yowl, Lionstride reared with all his might, pinning Swiftflight down. "You win!" Swiftdapple gasped for breath. Swiftdapple jumped down. "That was good!" Swiftdapple purred. Lionstride glanced at the sky. "It's almost dark. Let's get some rest." He mewed.

Flameflower's Story- 7, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 7-

Flameflower went inside Lionfang's den. It had 3 nests, with fluffy moss and soft feathers. "It looks very... Comfortable." Flameflower mewed. "It is." Lionfang purred, inviting her to stay. "I guess I can... But I'll hunt right now." Flameflower nodded to Lionfang. "You just ate two carp." Lionfang pointed out. "Well... I'll hunt for you too." Flameflower licked her flanks, plump and fat for leaf-bare. "Okay then." Lionfang went inside. Flameflower padded into the forest, tasting the air for scents. She decided to go for a moorhen. Flameflower jumped in a tree next to the moorhen. She let out an deafening screech, and the moorhen started to take off.  Flameflower leaped on it, taking it down. "Yes!" She yowled. Lionfang appeared. "Nice catch." He purred. "Thanks!" Flameflower beamed. "Let's share." She gulped down a few bites, then nudged it to Lionfang, who finished it. "I see you're fattening up for leaf-bare." Lionfang mewed, looking at her flanks. "I don't want to die." Flameflower retorted defensively. "No need to be so defensive!" Lionfang meowed, his eyes round with surprise. "I'll go catch a few fish." Flameflower left him with a flick of her tail as she padded down to the lake. Flameflower dived in, glancing around in the water. "Fmshp!" Her meow was muffled by water as she scooped out a trout. Flameflower dragged it up and daintily took a bite. It was delicous, light, soft and flaky. Flameflower was soon done. It was dusk, and she was stuffed. Flameflower headed toward her bush. I don't feel like going to Lionfang's tonight... She thought drowsily as she curled up in the soft fronds of bracken, moss and feathers.

Flameflower's Story- 6, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 6-

Flameflower called for Mistfur. She appeared, looking ruffled. "I got you prey." Flameflower meowed to the older she-cat. "I can catch prey myself, thanks!" Mistfur snapped. Flameflower winced. Mistfur wasn't usually snappy. "What's wrong?" Flameflower dropped the blackbird. "Tigerpelt." Mistfur growled. Flameflower's ears pricked, and Mistfur went on. "He tried to take my prey. It's only the beggining of leaf-fall!" Mistfur said exasperatedly. "Some cats are like that." Flameflower meowed. "Here's the blackbird. I need to go." Flameflower dipped her head, then trotted away.
Flameflower wasn't hungry, since she ate the fat blackbird. Flameflower tasted the air anyway. Moorhens, geese... She padded down to the river, diving in and churning her paws. Her claws hooked on a carp as she dived. Flameflower caught two carp. Dragging herself out, her flame-colored fur soaking, she groomed. Flameflower glanced around, hoping that she wouldn't get attacked as she ate. Tigerpelt was well known. He looked like a tiger, with sharp amber eyes. Flameflower gulped one carp down, licking her whiskers and digging in to the other. Her paws shifted the sand on the bank of the big river. The forest was next to it, alive with prey. Tigerpelt was 12 seasons old. Flameflower flexed her claws. She imagined sinking it into Tigerpelt's fur... "Flameflower!" Lionfang bounded up to her. "Hi!" She greeted. "Come to my cave." Lionfang whisked his tail across her muzzle. "Okay." Nodding, Flameflower plunged into the forest, reaching the cliff where Lionfang's cave was.

Hawk's Story- 5, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapte 5-

Hawk remembered the disastrous death. Blaze's death. And he had a mate! If he'd known, Hawk wouldn't have killed him. Light was still grieving. Hawk sighed. He turned in his moss nest. His bush was on the edge of the forest, after that was pine trees. It was beautiful, even in leaf-bare. It was getting deeper in leaf-bare. He needed to worry about survival, not some she-cat. Hawk soon fell asleep.
Hawk opened his eyes. He stretched in his bush, stretching out some pieces of moss. Hawk shook the moss from his pelt. He would need more. Gathering some dusty pieces of moss, Hawk flung them outside. His belly was not too hungry. Hawk could cope. He plunged into the forest, his legs stretching, enjoying the frosty dew and the cold, clean air. It would snow soon. Hawk could taste it in the air. Even more reason to gather moss now! Hawk clawed together moss he'd found, balling it and carrying it with him to his nest. It was more than enough, and his nest was fluffy with moss. Hawk decided to hunt now. He looked at the sky. Almost sunhigh. Turning his head straight ahead, Hawk went to the moorland. There he could find rabbits, geese... His mind turned to Light. Hawk shook his head, clearing the thoughts. Rabbits, geese, moorhens, herbs. Herbs for my wounds... Birds and moles maybe. Hawk tasted the air. The scent of a moorhen hit him. He trotted eagerly toward, not pausing to crouch. Hawk just pounced, an enormous leap. He hit the moorhen, snapping its neck. Hawk gulped it down. It was scrawny. Hawk was soon redressing his wounds. Good. He looked up. It was almost dusk now. He spent a long time finding herbs. Licking his paw, Hawk turned and trekked back to his bush with the moorhen's feathers in his mouth. He dropped the bundle, sighing and closing his eyes in his soft, fluffy nest, getting half covered by moss and feathers.

Hawk's Story- 4, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 4-

Hawk gasped as he got knocked back. "I'm sorry!" He sputtered, dashing away. The white she-cat faced him, her tail lashing. "I know it was a mistake. And you'll pay!" Her blue eyes were full of fury and despair. "I'm sorry!" Hawk yowled. Her eyes met Hawk's brilliant green ones. Hawk lashed his brown tabby tail. "I'm sorry." He growled. "And you should be." The white she-cat whispered,  collapsing next to her mate. "Blaze..." She murmured. "I'm so sorry. Please wake up. It's me, Light." Blaze's body was covered in blood. Light gently licked him clean. "This is all your fault!" Light spat, whipping around and glaring at Hawk with her piercing blue eyes. Then she slumped down. "I know... Every cat is fighting for food." Light murmured, starting to dig a hole. "I'll help." Hawk dug out soil until his paws bled. He carried Blaze's body gently into the home and buried it, patting the mound down. "Blaze... You were such an honorable cat... I'm sorry you died this way." Light whispered, crouching next to the grave. Hawk was guilty. Why have I killed him? He thought bitterly.  The she-cat was at least 2 years old. Light still had a long life ahead, without her mate. "Goodbye." Light's meow rose to a wail. She turned around and plunged into the undergrowth. "I'm sorry." Hawk bowed his head as he dragged himself away, tail and head drooping. At least he wasn't hungry anymore.

Hawk's Story- 3, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 3-

Hawk blinked awake. The carp he had eaten seemed like a lifetime ago. He sighed. "I wish new-leaf was here." Hawk muttered. He tasted the air. Blood! Hawk's eyes widened. A cat was eating a goose! He trotted over, crouching in the ferns. Sure enough, there was a ginger tom eating it. Hawk narrowed his amber eyes. The cat had just started on the goose. "I'm so lucky!" The cat purred. "give it to me!" With a snarl, Hawk crashed into the ginger tom. He felt bad for fighting the ginger tom. "No!" The ginger tom pushed himself up and faced Hawk, growling. There were lots of other cats around the lake, and all sorts of territories. Hawk dived under the bigger cat, slashing its flank. He then sank his teeth into the other tom's rump. The ginger cat shrieked, whipping around and slashing Hawk away. Hawk felt the sting of claws in his shoulder, and he leaped and twisted, landing onto the other cat's back. He sank his teeth and claws in, the ginger tom flailing. Hawk jumped off. "Get out now, or face your death!" Hawk spat. "You started it. I'll finish it!" With a roar, the other tom slammed his paws down on Hawk's head. Hawk was younger than the ginger tom, 8 moons old. The other cat was at least 3 years old. Hawk dived away, his head throbbing. He felt the other cat slash against his flank. Hawk staggered, rearing and slashing at the ginger cat's muzzle. He raced past the ginger cat, slashing his claws and sinking his teeth and claws into his tail. Hawk yanked the ginger cat's tail, flipping him over. He pinned the ginger cat down. "Now do you want to leave?" Hawk growled. "No!" The ginger cat heaved, but Hawk was too fast. Hawk had already sank his teeth into the ginger cat's throat. "N-" The other cat's cry was cut off by blood. His body convulsed one last time, and the ginger cat was dead. Hawk bowed his head. He felt bad. "I shouldn't have done this." Hawk sat down, head still bowed. He glanced around. The clearing was covered in blood. Hawk liked his wounds clean, then applied marigold, horsetail, oak leaf and dock to his wounds. Hawk bound them together with cobwebs and some bindweed and beech leaves. Hawk finished the goose first. "You killed my mate!" A voice sounded behind him, full of despair. Hawk whipped around to see a white she-cat with piercing blue eyes. "Why?!" She sprang at him.

Flameflower's Story- 5, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 5-

Flameflower padded out of sight of Mistfur's den. She was nice, maybe Flameflower would visit again. Flameflower scented the air. Fat shrew, thrush, vole and rabbit. She headed in the direction of the rabbit. She spotted it. It looked plump. Flameflower swiped her tongue around her jaws. She snaked up to it and pounced in an enormous leap. The rabbit collapsed beneath her paws. Flameflower nipped its throat. Flameflower gulped it down. Green-leaf brought lots of prey, and warm weather. Flameflower decided to hunt more, so she wouldn't be hungry. She scented squirrel. Flameflower leaped in the direction of the squirrel. This time, she ran up to it and killed it in a swift bite. Flameflower carried it to a bush. The bush had ferns and moss underneath. Flameflower gulped the squirrel down. It was almost dusk. She spotted 2 blackbirds together on a tree. Double! Flameflower climbed the tree eagerly, slowly approaching. Quickly, she slammed both her front paws on them. Yes! Flameflower carried them down gleefully. She would save some for tomorrow.
Flameflower looked up wearily from under her bush. She wasn't that hungry, since she ate a squirrel and a rabbit last night. Flameflower would need more fat for next leaf-bare. She tore apart a blackbird and swallowed it. Taking the other blackbird, she had headed toward Mistfur's den.

Hawk's Story- 2, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 2-

Hawk yawned and stretched, his belly rumbling. He looked up into the sky, full of dawn light and clouds. The crisp leaf-bare air was cold, sending out puffs of fog as Hawk breathed. He narrowed his eyes as he looked at the warm, red sun. Hawk sighed. He started grooming himself. His ribs were showing- it was leaf-bare. His fur was rough from travels through snow, battles and tough hunting, being scraped through brambles. Hawk longed for new-leaf to come. Scenting the air, Hawk picked up the scent of mouse. But it was stale, the mouse was long gone. Hawk padded through the frosty grass, into the bare woods. He scented the air again. This time, he scented a blackbird. Hawk eagerly pelted into the trees his paws skimming the ground and barely making sound. Hawk relished the cold wind on his face, the fresh breeze. He skidded to a stop as he neared the blackbird. It was pulling at a worm. Perfect. Hawk crouched, setting on light paw in front of the other. Hawk pounced, his claws gripping the bird. He swiftly nipped its throat. The blackbird was scrawny, but it was better than the shrew and 2 minnows he'd had last night. Hawk gulped it down eagerly, hungry. He was still hungry after that, but at least it had taken the edge off his hunger.
Hawk went to a swift-flowing river, plunging his muzzle in the water to take a drink. His fur felt dry and rough. He decided to go for a swim. Hawk plunged in, the cold water making him gasp. The water felty good on his fur, drenching it all. He plunged his head under, blinking open his eyes. A small carp! What was it doing here? Hawk reached out, snagging his claws in the fish. His lungs screamed for air. As he got a hold of it, Hawk exploded up, gasping for air. Finally! A decent meal! Hawk gulped it down, his belly full for once. He purred as he groomed his wet brown tabby fur. Hawk trotted back to his bush with moss underneath. He curled up, full and content.

Hawk's Story- 1, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 1-

Hawk sharpened his claws on a tree branch. "I'm so hungry..." He growled. It was leaf-bare, and not a lot of prey was around. Hawk sighed. He would hunt. Hawk prowled through the cold, frosted morning ground. Leaves crunched beneath his paws. Hawk tasted the air. Shrew! Following the tracks, Hawk snaked up to it, killing it in a swift bite. The shrew was scrawny, and it was starved. Hawk ripped off a piece and swallowed. Yuck! Hawk made a face. But this was the only food he had. Other cats would want it. Hawk swallowed another piece gingerly. "Disgusting!" He muttered, gulping the rest down hungrily and wrinkling his nose in disgust. Hawk padded down to the river. He was 8 moons old, still very young. Hawk waited at the edge. He flashed out a paw, scooping out 2 minnows. They're tiny! Hawk thought to himself. He ate them both. Barely 3 mouthfuls.
Hawk lay down on the moss underneath a bush. He was tired and hungry and cold. Hawk groomed himself. At least he was clean. Sighing, he stretched out and closed his eyes. Hawk soon fell asleep under the dusk sky.

Flameflower's Story- 4, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 4-

Lionfang padded into the den with a rabbit in his jaws. He set it down. "Here. This is for you." Lionfang purred. Flameflower ripped out a piece, gulping it down. The rabbit was delicous. Lionfang was finishing up his vole. "I'm better, and I'll go now." Flameflower stood up. "Okay, bye." Lionfang got up and stretched as Flameflower dashed out of the cave. The forest floor was dappled with sunlight, a pond sparkling in the sun. Flameflower padded out of the forest, and onto a pine tree forest. The needles underpaw were soft and comfortable. Flameflower ran through it, feeling the wind in her fur. Greenleaf wind. Flameflower spotted a blackbird. Climbing a tree, she crept up to it and pounced nimbly. Flameflower took the blackbird in her jaws and trotted onto the moorland. Crouching behind some ferns, she swallowed the blackbird. Flameflower sat up and began grooming. "Hi!" Flameflower whipped around. A dappled gray she-cat stood in front of her. "I'm Mistfur." The cat said. "I'm Flameflower." She eyed Mistfur suspiciously. "I'm 8 seasons old." Mistfur meowed. "I'm 5 seasons old." Flameflower said. "Well, we're not going to stand here all day." Mistfur got up and motioned for Flameflower to follow. Flameflower padded after her. "That's my den." Mistfur gestured toward two leaning trees in the forest. It was covered in drapes of ivy. Flameflower nodded. "I don't have a den yet." She replied. Mistfur shrugged. "You don't have to." Mistfur said simply. "Well, bye, I have things to do." Flameflower meowed to Mistfur. "Stop by anytime!" Mistfur padded into her den, disappearing behind the swishing ivy.

Flameflower's Story- 3, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 3-

Flameflower curled up in a soft nest of moss. She yawned. Lionfang would probably follow her. She didn't care.
Flameflower woke up. It was dawn. She was on the moor. Flameflower had made her nest there the night before. She was hungry. Flameflower padded down to the river and waited. She quickly flashed out a paw, scooping out a carp. "Give that to me!" A voice behind her snarled. Flameflower whipped around. The cat crashed into her, toppling her into the pool. She watched the surface of the water dance. Need... To... Get... Up... Her lungs screamed for air. Bubbles flowed out of her mouth. The figure above her, ginger with a white scar on his forehead, clawed her ears. Blood flowed into the pool. Flameflower kicked the water, resurfacing. She gasped for air, racing out of the river and scooping up the fish. "Can't fight in water?" The ginger to taunted. With a growl, Flameflower leaped on top of him and buried her fangs into his neck. He rolled over, pushing her into the big pond again. Flameflower thrashed, kicking at the enemy. She felt her claws dig into his pelt. Flameflower resurfaced, gasping for air and she sank her teeth into his paw. "Argh!" With a grunt, her opponent pelted away. Flameflower sighed in relief, gasping and falling onto the shore, bleeding and tired.
Flameflower blinked awake. Her body ached with soreness. Flameflower saw the familiar shore. She struggled to her paws, panting. Flameflower started grooming her scratches. Comfrey... Marigold, horsetail and dock... Flameflower needed those. She tried walking a few steps. "I can't do it!" Flameflower wailed, flopping onto the shore. She sighed and curled up.
Flameflower's eyes flew open. It was morning again. She was on unfamiliar ground. "You're awake." A golden tom padded into sight. "Lionfang!" She gasped. He had treated her wounds. "I'm hunting." Lionfang purred, whisking out of sight. Flameflower got up and stretched. She felt a lot better.

Flameflower's Story- 2, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 2-

Flameflower stared up at the night sky. The robin she'd eaten seemed like a lifetime ago. Lionfang. Flameflower remembered the tom she had met. Right now, she would hunt on the moor land. The territory surrounding the lake- Marshes, woods, rivers, moor, pine, was all the territory that Flameflower knew of. All the cats living there shared the territory. She knew Lionfang, and Berrysplash, a she-cat with a bright pink nose. Flameflower tasted the air. The scent of a goose flooded her jaws. Flameflower padded through the tough moorland grass. She spotted it- sleeping. Flameflower narrowed her eyes, her fiery red pelt blending into the soft, gold, night heather. She crept forward, one step at a time. A golden pelt flashed past her, sinking claws and teeth into the goose's neck. "That was mine!" She snarled. "Flameflower." The golden cat turned around, his head high. "How dare you!" Flameflower leaped for him, her claws unsheathed. "Lionfang!" She growled. He ducked away, batting at her with sheathed claws. "I'm not a kit!" Flameflower snarled, throwing herself on top of him and sinking her teeth into his rump. Lionfang scrambled away. "That hurt!" He exclaimed. Flameflower sighed. "Sorry." She mumbled. "Let's share." Lionfang started devouring the goose, Flameflower following. After they filled their bellies, Flameflower went to get a drink from a nearby stream. "I'm going now." She mewed, padding away. "Bye!" Lionfang mewed, sitting and watching Flameflower pad away.

Flameflower's Story- 1, A Warrior Cats Fanfic

Chapter 1-

Flameflower padded on a grassy trail in the thick woodland. She was hungry. But it was greenleaf. Who starved then? Flameflower snorted at the thought. Tasting the air, she scented a robin. Flameflower tracked it down. It was pulling at a worm. Perfect. Flameflower snaked up until she was a few tail lengths from it. She pounced, nipping its throat. "Nice catch." Flameflower whipped around, her fire blazing pelt flashing. She narrowed her sharp green eyes. "Who are you?" Flameflower mewed. A strange cat stepped out of the shadows. "Lionfang." The golden tom replied. "And you?" He inquired. "Oh- uh, Flameflower." She replied, stumbling over her words. "Well, I'd be off now. See you around." Flameflower mewed briskly. There were lots of other cats in the forest. As she padded away, she felt a pang of disappointment. Flameflower shook the thought away. No. Nonsense, she thought, shaking her head. Flashing a glance at her surroundings, she gulped down the robin.
